He was 8 for 9 in that situation heading into Saturday of the 2012 US Open, tied for -1 along with Jim Furyk. Both of them imploded eventually, leaving the road open for Webb Simpson. But it was longer, more painful, as always, to watch Tiger going through another meltdown.
