Arsenal FC – Mesut Ozil & Olivier Giroud Failing Together

Another big occasion, and another match in which Mesut Ozil pulls off his famous disappearing act, while Olivier Giroud, worn out from being the only viable striker on this Arsenal team Arsene Wenger built, didn’t do much better in another rather bland 90 minutes from the French striker.

Bayern Munich – Arjen Robben Will Dive Each Time if it Means Winning

For some reason people are still shocked by Arjen Robben diving, and then a bit more, and carrying on with it until he wins a penalty. Bayern Munich didn’t score on that spot kick he won the team (Thomas Muller missed), but the Dutch winger will be happy to concentrate all the hate and criticism towards him as long as it means he’s still on the winning side at the end of the 90 minutes.

Match Highlights – Bayern Munich vs Arsenal, Atletico Madrid vs Milan

Entertaining? Maybe. Surprising? Not very much. The funny thing is that through advances stats or simply by watching a game, the Bulls are better when Gibson plays next to Noah in the frontcourt and the rest of the starters.

NFL Rumors – New York Jets, Houston Texans & Tampa Bay Buccaneers Interested in Signing Josh McCown

It’s funny how Josh McCown, close to his 35th birthday, suddenly finds himself attracting more interest than during the earlier days of his career. After a very good half-season with the Chicago Bears he might still re-sign with the team, but there’s a very good chance the offers from the New York Jets, Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be more flattering.

Los Angeles Clippers – Blake Griffin For MVP? Why Not?

The MVP award is going to Kevin Durant or LeBron James, but it’s always nice to throw some names out there worthy of consideration. For the first time in his career, Blake Griffin is displaying almost the full package, and deserves to be mentioned among the best in the NBA regardless of position, team or success. Who knows where the Los Angeles Clippers would be without him this season.
