NFC West – Not as Bad as You Think
The NFC West, usually, doesn’t get too many compliments. Besides having a dominant Seattle Seahawks team in the mid 00’s and the 49ers’ rise in the 2011 season under head Jim Harbaugh. Nonetheless, despite not having a Super Bowl winning team since January 2000, it is the only division to have a team in the playoffs divisional round each season since the realignment.

Warriors Over Heat – A Nate Robinson Heroic Finish
Nate Robinson, pretty much a forgotten man. Did OK for the Celtics, hardly used by the Thunder before getting cut a day before the season began. Now? 24 points, 17 of them in the fourth quarter and overtime to stun the Miami Heat, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 111-106 win.

2011 College Football Rankings – Final Edition
Surprised by the BCS Championship game turning in one of its worst ratings ever? I guess the public doesn’t like rematches, even between two powerhouses like Alabama and LSU. A playoff seems closer than ever, or anything that is a change of the current system, that seems to alienate more and more fans from Bowl season.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao – Twists and Turns
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao looked to be heading in different directions. Mayweather to prison, Pacquiao to fight someone Bob Arum finds comfortable to close a deal with. It seemed the two were deemed to meet later, or not at all. Despite all that, Mayweather, at least according to social media, wants the big fight to happen this May.
