Chelsea FC – Beyond All the Oscar Excitement
For a few minutes, all the problems Chelsea suddenly began having were gone. Oscar scored two goals in the space of two minutes to put his side 2-0 up over Juventus, promising a dream start to their champions league campaign. Problem is, Chelsea weren’t playing Wigan or Reading, but the Italian champions, who showed, once again, the many flaws in Roberto Di Matteo’s side.

Best Goals of the Night – Oscar, Toni Kroos & Alyaksandr Valadzko
The night’s biggest surprise, BATE Borisov winning in France against Lille, provided the fantastic Alyaksandr Valadzko goal, opening the 3-1 win. However, the two biggest matches, Bayern hosting Valencia and Juventus visiting Chelsea, gave us the brilliant goals by Toni Kroos and Oscar.

Oscar Wonder Goal Doesn’t Help in Champions League Opener (Chelsea vs Juventus)
For a short while, it looked like Oscar was having a dream debut in the Champions League, scoring two first half goals, including one perfect and memorable one to give Chelsea a 2-goal lead. Alas, Juventus were serious when they declared they were coming to Stamford Bridge to score, coming back with an Arturo Vidal goal and later on a Fabio Quagliarella equalizer in the second half, endning the match at 2-2.

Denver Broncos Worried About Peyton Manning’s Arm Strength
Peyton Manning was pretty bad in the 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night, throwing three interceptions in the first quarter. As it happens, with a possible opening for one last play to give the Denver Broncos one last shot at winning the game (which didn’t happen), Manning would’ve been benched and backup quarterback Brock Osweiler would have been thrown in for the Hail Mary pass.
