Oregon vs Arizona – The Bursting of a Bubble
For a moment there, Oregon saw a chance open up to win the Pac 12 North division, and via that the conference. Marcus Mariota saw a chance to win the Heisman trophy once again. But then came the unfortunate visit to Tuscon. Mariota was intercepted twice, Arizona beat the Ducks 42-16, and all that’s left now is some pride to regain in the Civil War game.

Texas A&M vs LSU – Johnny Manziel Doesn’t Get a Happy Ending
The season still isn’t over, but there isn’t anything for Texas A&M or LSU left to achieve besides win some respect points and improve their place in the BCS standings, hoping it’ll somehow earn them an at-large bid, no matter how unlikely. By shutting down Johnny Manziel for a second straight year, the Tigers at least got themselves a game in which Zach Mettenberger looks better than an elite quarterback.

As always, the UCLA hype ends with a disappointing thud, this time not even going to the conference championship game. Unlike most years, Arizona State live up to the expectations, claiming the division title thanks to a 38-33 win in the Rose Bowl, a game they might return to if things go well in the next few weeks.

Baylor vs Oklahoma State – Clint Chelf Turns the Big 12 Upside Down
It seems Clint Chelf always gets to be at his best when he faces Baylor, but this time it ended up with a win. Oklahoma State beat the number 4 team in the nation 49-17, overturning the situation in the Big 12, which means the Cowboys now need to win their inner state rivalry game against the Sooners in order to win the conference for the second time in three years.

While the top 3 teams in the BCS Standings: Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State continue to cruise, which means the Buckeyes will be left out of the national champions game, below them it continues to be mayhem, as Number 4 Baylor (losing to Oklahoma State) and number 6 Oregon (losing to Arizona) probably will find themselves out of the top 10, while Texas A&M, UCLA and Minnesota join them in the long list of ranked teams that lost this week.
