Manny Pacquiao – Do we Need a Fifth Juan Manuel Marquez Fight
One loss doesn’t mean the end of a career, but a knockout loss sure feels like one. Maybe that’s why Manny Pacquiao is looking for some redemption in a fifth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.

Best Sport Photos of 2012
What was 2012 like? Each Olympic year is dominated by that summer event, more than anything else. Yes, we had the New York Giants winning the Super Bowl, LeBron James winning his first NBA title while Chelsea made history in the Champions League and Sergio Aguero made his own history in the Premiership. Still, this was the year of the Olympic games in London.

Floyd Mayweather – What’s Left to Fight For
Legacy and money are what drive boxing forward. Mostly money. Titles? Their nice to have and hold up after wins, by their pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. For Floyd Mayweather, which has all the legacy he can wish for, and probably all the money as well, there isn’t that much left out there to motivate him.

Manny Pacquiao – At Least He Did Ok With the PPV
Despite whatever Manny Pacquiao said after getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the end of a very glorious chapter in his career, and in boxing. No fight with Floyd Mayweather on the horizon, and everything won’t be the same again from this moment on. At least his PPV numbers didn’t disappoint.

Rafael Nadal – An Elite Player Again or Not
The first thing Rafael Nadal probably wants to do after he plays his first tennis match since this last June is put his hands over his knees and see that everything is alright. Once that first match is out of the way, it’s on to conquering the top of the tennis world once again, step by step. Nadal is confident he has what it takes.

Rafael Nadal – Getting Over Another Injury
It’s been six months since Rafael Nadal last played a tennis match, losing in the second round of the 2012 Wimbledon tournament. It’s been a long, doubtful road to recovery every since. He has got a match (exhibition) lined up for him next week, but it doesn’t mean he’s 100% certain he’s going to be fine.

Floyd Mayweather vs Sergio Martinez – The Fight we Want & Need
Boxing, in it’s current form, is driven forward and hopefully upwards by big fights, the biggest possible. At the current situation, it’s obvious that any big fight should involve Floyd Mayweather Jr. But against who? Not Manny Pacquiao, not anymore. Sergio Martinez, before he becomes a bit too old for this s^%&, needs to be the next on the list.

Best Sports Memes of 2012
Sport memes aren’t the most important thing in the world, but they do add color to something a lot of people (including us) often take much too seriously. Be it McKayla Maroney frowning and ruining everyone’s party, Mario Balotelli flexing his muscles or LeBron James balding by the second, 2012 was a pretty good year for some internet humor on the world of sports.

Floyd Mayweather – Waited for the Manny Pacquiao Loss
Ever since he got out of prison, Floyd Mayweather has been very quiet compared to what we’re used to seeing and hearing from him, until now. I guess Manny Pacquiao losing a fight is such a cause for celebration in camp Mayweather, that he just couldn’t resist and share his wisdom on the subject.
