Howard Webb missed the vicious step on Parker’s head, and the villainous Italian scored the injury time penalty, giving the league leaders a dramatic 3-2 win.

Roberto Soldado scored one of Valencia’s four goals in their 4-1 win over Levante, scoring his 19th goals for the club in all competitions this season. His scoring ability breaking out again wasn’t the most impressive of his feats on Thursday, while his laptop breaking quality was showcased for the first time.

Maicon was one of the best players on a hard working and victorious Inter side in the beginning of the week, beating Milan 1-0, as Claudio Ranieri continued to work his mid-season magic. It continued on Thursday, as Inter beat Genoa 2-1 in the Coppa Italia, with Maicon scoring one of the best goals of the season in Italy.
