The Ben Roethlisberger-Antonio Brown tandem has been the most productive QB-WR in the NFL for over a year now, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down. The Redskins played poorly against good teams last season, and the season opener, despite high expectations, showed this team is still far from being a good one.
As for Norman, the Redskins didn’t put him on Brown all the time, preferring to hide their investment at times against someone who didn’t have an easy time with him. That wasn’t the only matchup the Redskins lost in, and Kirk Cousins was terrible in his first game as a franchise tagged player, but the Norman-Brown spectacle, only due to the trash talking of the cornerback, grabbed the headlines.

The division’s weakness helped them make the postseason last year for the first time since 2012. Despite this loss and others that will come, it’s still too soon to think it’s all over for them.
