Whenever a famous person gets arrested and it hits the news, meme makers have a field day. When it’s someone like Tiger Woods, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the reaction is much stronger.

Whether it was alcohol or the wrong mix of prescriptions, Woods adds another shameful chapter to his recent collection, whether it’s on the golf course with poor results or simply what happens off of it. Ever since it broke out that Woods had a thing for trashy waitresses while he was married, combining that with his injuries, he hasn’t been able to return to the heights of years past. With 14 majors by 2008, he seemed destined to become the most decorated golfer of all-time. But his career got derailed.

And now, as he keeps trying to make an impact and battle injuries (and fail), this arrest doesn’t add to the image of someone who was golf’s golden boy, and the highest paid athlete in the world for a very long time. It might have been hypocritical to destroy his reputation for infidelity, but this DUI arrest is a different kind of mess, even if it is something that’s being blown out of proportion by the media, something it does best.
