Another season of Game of Thrones is over. With Jon Snow (or Aegon Targaryen) and Daenerys finally doing it. With Arya and Sansa outplaying Littlefinger and taking him off the board. Especially, with plenty of terrific memes.

Many things have been said about this season of Game of Thrones, which continues to set new records, establishing itself as this decade’s water cooler show, despite being on a premium network. The quality, in terms of creativity, innovation and writing, had declined with every season and episode. But the scale of everything and the execution of the big events keeps us all coming back for more, especially when there is so much fan service.

Now, no one is unaware that the White Walkers and the Night King are coming. They also have a dragon, which complicates things. Cersei won’t join the fight, caring only about one thing. If there’s justice in this show (and maybe there is), she’ll die at the hands of one of her brothers, probably Tyrion.

And as for the savior, there will probably be more than one. Will it be Jon, who has been raised as a Jesus like figure, or Azor Ahai according to the books? Perhaps Daenerys, who I personally feel will be dead by the end of the show? Maybe it’s Bran, who might also be on the wrong side of the fence? In the end, despite my tendency for unhappy ending, I hope the remaining Starks live, and the Walkers are stopped. If they aren’t, the ending memes won’t be as funny.
