The Dallas Cowboys keep finding ways to lose against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, which sadly for them, always results in some painful memes.
Perhaps this time was more painful than others. The Cowboys lost a 21-6 lead, and also a 31-28 lead with 1:13 to go. Their defense failed them again, resulting in two consecutive losses to the Packers at home by less than 7 points. It’s also the second consecutive loss for the Cowboys following another choke job against the Los Angeles Rams.
Overall, things aren’t great for Dallas when they meet the Packers. The two teams have met 8 times since 2009, with the Cowboys winning just once, last year in the regular season. Twice it also happened in the playoffs, a domain which the Cowboys once dominated whenever they encountered the Packers, beating them three years in a row during the postseason in the mid 1990’s.
The Packers look like the best team in the NFC, and Rodgers once again looks like the best quarterback in the NFL. The Cowboys? They have the Philadelphia Eagles to worry about, running away with the division at the current pace.
