Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics got a big night from Kyrie Irving to see off the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Denver Nuggets needed crunch-time heroics from Will Barton to beat the Chicago Bulls.

Cleveland Cavaliers 121  Atlanta Hawks 114: The Cavaliers win their 10th straight game, as the Hawks stayed close right until the end. LeBron James finished with a very impressive 24 points on 8-for-11 shooting, adding 6 boards, 12 dimes and 2 rejections. Chicago Bulls 110  Denver Nuggets 111: The Bulls remain on just 3 wins, as Will Barton nailed a game winning reverse layup with 3.2 seconds to go, capping off a huge 37-point performance. Kris Dunn, scoring 19 for the sorry Bulls, gave Chicago the lead in the previous possession.

Milwaukee Bucks 103  Portland Trail Blazers 91: An impressive night for the Bucks, grabbing the lead in the first quarter and never letting go. Khris Middleton led the scoring for once with 26, followed by Eric Bledsoe (25) and Giannis Antetokounmpo, adding 20 points to a stellar defensive display. Jusuf Nurkic led the Blazers with 25 points.

Utah Jazz 126  Los Angeles Clippers 107: The Clippers depressing season continues, this time with a blowout loss at home. Things were close up to the fourth quarter, when the Jazz ran away with the game. Rookie sensation added some highlights to his resume on a 24-point performance, leading 6 players in double figures, with the Jazz winning for the second time only on the road this season. The Clippers are four games under .500, and things are getting ugly, including some war of words between Austin Rivers and fans.
