While there weren’t any huge shock waves of surprise after the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins, some meme makers were enthused enough to care and make fun of the situation and both teams.

The Cowboys stopped the bleeding, winning their first game without Ezekiel Elliott. Dak Prescott didn’t put up big numbers, but he got plenty of run support from Alfred Morris and co., while Dez Bryant possibly played his best game of the season.

And although the Cowboys still have problems on both sides of the ball, they’re at 6-6, with two not too difficult road games coming up. Oh, and Elliott isn’t going to be out forever. Maybe this season can still be salvaged.

You might say the same about the Redskins. Things aren’t looking great, but hey, they don’t have to play the Cowboys anymore, and they finish the season against the Denver Broncos and New York Giants. Maybe it’s not over yet for Kirk Cousins and co.
