Champions League Week 6 Results & Group Tables (Groups A-D)

Manchester United beat CSKA

No surprises in the first set of finales in the Champions League group stage, as Bayern Munich beat Paris Saint-Germain in something of a revenge match, joined by Chelsea, Roma, Barcelona, Juventus, Basel and Manchester United en route to the round of 16.

Group A

Benfica 0  Basel 2: Goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Dimitri Oberlin mean Basel are in the round of 16 through 2nd place, while Benfica finish the group stage with 0 points and just one goal to their name.

Manchester United 2  CSKA Moscow 1: A less than impressive performance from United, but a quick brace from Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford cancelled out Alan Dzagoev’s goal at the end of the first half.

Group B

Bayern Munich 3 PSG 1: An impressive performance from Bayern Munich shows just how bad they were under Carlo Ancelotti. Robert Lewandowski and a brace by Tolisso avenged their loss in Paris earlier this season, while Kylian Mbappe pegged one back for Saint-Germain.

Celtic 0  Anderlecht 1: An own goal in the 8th minute gave Anderlecht the win in Glasgow, but due to the head to head between the two sides, Celtic will still advance to the Europa League, while Anderlecht are done in European competition this season.
