Things keep getting worse for the Dallas Cowboys. The meme makers rejoiced on the opportunity to pick the team and Dak Prescott apart after their Thursday Night Football loss to the Chicago Bears.
The game ended 31-24, but it was never that close – just some garbage time points for the Cowboys. Jason Garrett’s seems more on the hot seat than ever, with 3 games remaining in the season. The Cowboys still lead the division, but with 4 losses in their last 5 games, a pretty lousy by their own right Philadelphia Eagles team might actually take over at 1st.
The Cowboys defense made Mitch Trubisky look like an MVP-caliber quarterback in the chilly Chicago night. Prescott in the meantime didn’t get going until it was too late. It helped fantasy teams, not the Cowboys.
Garrett has been the team’s head coach for 10 years now. He is working without a contract for next season. This truly may be an end of an era for the Cowboys. It was always going to happen at some point, but no one thought the ending would be this bad.

Last time Garrett worked in any capacity for a different franchise was in 2006 for the Miami Dolphins.
Once again, the Houston Texans seem like the best team in Texas.
