It’s been over a month since the Dallas Mavericks overwhelmed the Big three and the Miami Heat, winning the franchise’s first NBA title AND redeeming Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry and Jason Kidd. Now, it might have been a surprise to most, but following a certain stat and belief and team chemistry over a recently newly formed star studded squad might have helped people make the right choice.
Idris Raja analyzed the average age of all NBA teams since 1957, and predicted that the Mavs would win the title. Why? The NBA champions are usually the more experienced side, with cohesion and experience working in their favor. This infographic illustrates this pretty well.
