3 Days after Kaka was signed Real Madrid went even bigger and more expensive, offering 80 million pounds, around 130 million dollars, to Manchester United and finally having their bid accepted.

A statement on the United website confirmed the United have agreed to a deal that will allow Real to begin talks with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The club finally agreed to the players requests to be allowed to leave the club for Real Madrid at this world-record transfer fee.

With a new galacticos era now officially starting at Real, it will be interesting to see how things will work at the star studded team, and how the combination of Ronaldo and Kaka will work out and how good can Ronaldo be in the Spanish league.
