Life is good for Joey Barton. He isn’t playing for one of the best teams in the Premier League but for QPR, who got their second win of the season at Wolverhampton, beating Wolves 3-0. Barton, who began the season at Newcastle after a turbulent summer, also scored his first goal for his new club.
When is life not turbulent for Barton? Well, for now, he seems content. He looked that way in the beginning of last season as well, so don’t get your hopes up for a calm and relaxed season from him. He can’t avoid getting a laugh at the expense of his teammates, and when watching Shaun Derry doing an interview, Barton couldn’t help himself but to fling an empty water bottle at the head of his teammate. Good laughs.

Joey Barton is a total twat. It’s a disgrace that he’s allowed to play for any team. Sticking a lit cigar in someone’s eye is the epitome of a lout! it’s fools like this who give footballers a bad name. I read recently that he was in an ongoing row with the owners of Newcastle. What amazed me was the fact that he could write a sentence, then I read that he pays someone to write it for him!
Please don’t give Barton any credibility by publishing some of the immature and stupid things he does.
