Midweek Goals we Loved

Tuesday and Sunday were busy with League play in Spain and Italy while English teams kept themselves busy with the Carling cup. Luis Suarez and Antonio Valencia gave us the best from the UK with a latin flavor, Antonio Nocerino stunned with a hat trick and one incredible goal but the best of the best came from South America, with Vasco’s Bernardo showing his skills in the Copa Sudamericana.

Luis Suarez scored twice for Liverpool as they beat Stoke City, away, something the Reds find hard to do in the past few seasons, including this stunner after nutmegging Ryan Shotton and curling one into the far corner.

Milan’s Antonio Nocerino stole the show with his hat trick in the 4-1 win over Parma, and his second goal, a beauty into the top corner, was the best of them on a special night for the midfielder.

Bernardo Vieira de Souza, or simply Bernardo, scored the opening goal in Vaco’s 8-3 win over Aurora from Bolivia with a brilliant dribble, including quick feet, spins and a shot that used the crossbar to score the opener.

Antonio Valencia scored the best goal of Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Aldershot in the Carling cup, trying to forget Sunday’s 6-1 drubbing against Manchester City. It might be Aldershot, it might be the Carling Cup, but Valencia’s goal is an absolute beauty.
