The Pittsburgh Steelers finally got a win over the New England Patriots, the St. Louis Rams got their first win of the season over the New Orleans Saints while the Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed amazing days from Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy as they destroyed the Dallas Cowboys 34-7.

Indianapolis Colts (0-8) 10  Tennessee Titans (4-3) 27

The Colts keep losing while Jascon McCourty ran for a rare touchdown for the Titans, recovering a punt block before taking it home for the six points. Chris Johnson? 34 yards in 10 carries.

New Orleans Saints (5-3) 21  St. Louis Rams (1-6) 31

The surprise of the week, of the season. A.J. Feeley was on for Sam Bradford, throwing for a touchdown. Steven Jackson had a huge game with 159 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, while Drew Brees was intercepted twice and sacked six times, including three by Chris Long.

Miami Dolphins (0-7) 17  New York Giants (5-2) 20

The Dolphins gave it their best but collapsed in the fourth quarter, watching the New York drop 10 unanswered points and Victor Cruz catch a 25 yard pass for the winning touchdown. Eli Manning had a great game with 349 yards and two touchdowns with his defense sacking Matt Moore five times. Reggie Bush ran for over 100 yards for Miami.

Minnesota Vikings (2-6) 24  Carolina Panthers (2-6) 21

Came down to kicking. Olindo Mare missed it for the Panthers, Ryan Longwell made his for the Vikings, enjoying a good day for Christian Ponder with 236 yards and a touchdown while Adrian Peterson ran for 86 and a TD. Cam Newton was great – 290 passing yards, 3 TD, 53 yards rushing. Not enough.

Arizona Cardinals (1-6) 27  Baltimore Ravens (5-2) 30

Joe Flacco struggled again, not throwing any TD, but did throw for over 300 yards and had Ray Rice, running for 3 TD and a defense that sacked the even more struggling Kevin Kolb who threw for 153 yards, 98 of them to the frustrated Larry Fitzgerald.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) 14  Houston Texans (5-3) 24

Brad Gabbert was awful at QB, going 10-30, 97 yards, 1 TD and 2 interceptions. Hard to go anywhere with those numbers. Arian Foster ran for 112 yards and a touchdown while Matt Schaub still misses Andre Johnson.

Washington Redskins (3-4) 0  Buffalo Bills (5-2) 23

The downward spiral continues, as the Bills sacked John Beck nine times and intercepted him twice. Mike Shannahan, for the first time in his career, was shut out, while Fred Jackson ran for 12o yards and Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 262 yards and a touchdown.

Detroit Lions (5-2) 45  Denver Broncos (2-5) 10

Tim Tebow took a brutal beating. Sacked seven times, tackled 10 more times when he ran the ball, finishing with 18-39, 172 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The Lions? Stafford was great with 3 touchdown passes, Calvin Johnson catching one and finishing with 125 yards.

New England Patriots (5-2) 17  Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) 25

The heavyweight battle of the week and the year went to the Steelers who rarely edge the Patriots. Ben Roethlisberger is on a tear, throwing for 365 yards and two touchdowns as the Steelers grounded the Patriots offense, producing only 213 yards, half of what the Steelers had.

Cleveland Bronws (3-4) 10  San Francisco 49ers (6-1) 20

Stop being amazed. Yes, it’s not the strongest of schedules, but hey, you take what you get. Frank Gore ran for 134 yards and one touchdown, the defense sacked Colt McCoy four times, Alex Smith didn’t throw any interceptions  and the Browns’ running game was held to only 66 yards.

Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) 34  Seattle Seahawks (2-5) 12

Andy Dalton has had better games, throwing for two touchdowns but also two interceptions, and Reggie Nelson brought home an interception for a touchdown as the Bengals beat up on Tavaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst, making the Seahawks running game non existent.

Dallas Cowboys (3-4) 7  Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) 34

The Eagles came off of the Bye week the best way possible, ripping the Cowboys to shreds, building a 34-0 lead at one point. Michael Vick was pretty much perfect with 279 yards and two touchdowns, LeSean McCoy ran for two touchdowns and the Eagles as a whole ran for more than 200 yards on the ground, more than doubling Dallas’ offensive output.
