Brazilians Everton Santos (the assist) and Heverton (the goal) teamed up for one of the rarest things to happen on a football pitch, a double scissor kick goal, in the AFC Champions League match between Seongnam and Nagoya Grampus, ending in a 2-2 draw.
Seongnam from South Korea were looking for the equalizer when their two Brazilians came up with what may be the first double overhead kick goal in the history of the sport, or at least at a televised level.
Seongam finished 10th in the K-League last season, but won the FA Cup which brought them in the Asian continental competition. They’re still looking for their first league title since 2006, starting the 2012 with a loss.
Everton Santos, a 25 year old striker, came to Seongnam after three years in France, not playing for PSG, spending most of his time on loaned out back to Brazil.
Heverton is currently on loan to the South Korean club from Portuguesa.
