Best Photos From College Football Stadiums on Gameday

What’s the best College Football Stadium in the nation? Impossible to decide. So many variables, so many opinions. But pictures and photographs say a 1000 words, sometimes even more. It doesn’t sound like Death Valley in Clemson or LSU, but pictures, colors and incredible backdrops (BYU) make for some of the best stadium moments in any sport.

Michigan Stadium, Michigan Wolverines

Nicknamed ‘The big house’, Michigan Stadium is the largest stadium in the United States with a capacity of 109,901, surpassing the 111,000 mark on most game days when adding the band members and stadium staffers.

Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium, Kansas State Wildcats

Weird and ominous weather makes for beautiful pictures, like this day in Manhattan Kansas. The Wildcats’ stadium is named after Bill Snyder who has been the school’s head coach since 1989, retiring for 3 seasons between 2006-2008.

Memorial Stadium, Nebraska Cornhuskers

Nicknamed ‘The Sea of Red’, on game day, Memorial Stadium itself becomes one of the biggest cities/town in the state of Nebraska, with the current capacity of 81,067, but attendances going well beyond 85,000 in recent years.

LaVell Edwards Stadium, BYU Cougars

Probably the most beautiful setting for any sport venue in the United States. The Stadium, located in Provo, Utah, has a capacity of 63,725.

Memorial Staidum, Clemson Tigers

Most to known as Death Valley, Clemson’s stadium currently holds over 81,000 in attendance. It’s usually regarded as one of the loudest home venues in the nation.

Beaver Stadium, Penn State Nittany Lions

With an official seating capacity of 107,282, it’s the second largest stadium in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth largest in the world. Beaver stadium doesn’t sound all that intimidating, but there are few awesome sights like the all-white at University Park.

Jack Trice Stadium, Iowa State Cyclones

I’m a sucker for Lightning shots.

Kinnick Stadium, Iowa Hawkeyes

Iowa fans pulled a nice card trick during their game against Northwestern, changing the stars and stripes into Go Hawks , America Needs Farmers.

Autzen Stadium, Oregon Ducks

The official capacity for the stadium has been 54,000 since 2002, but almost everyhome game has seen more than that, even going beyond 60,000.

Bobby Dodd Stadium, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Georgia Tech fans don’t fill this place up too often, but it’s pretty special when they do, especially with the downtown Atlanta backdrop to help with the atmosphere.
