Javier Hernandez Scores The Easiest Goal of His Career (Mexico vs Bosnia)

Javier Hernandez didn’t have a great season with Manchester United, so the Bosnia defense decided to let him feel better about himself in a summer friendly. They poorly, or to be more exact, pathetically failed in clearing the ball, allowing Chicharito to score a 90th minute winner and give Mexico a 2-1 win in Chicago.

The Mexicans did go ahead first through Giovanni Dos Santos, who had another season of hoping but not getting to see too much time on the pitch for Tottenham. Summer matches with Mexico have become his favorite time of the year – the only time he actually gets to play.

Chicharito also so his golden touch as a super sub go to waste, especially later in the season. He finished with 8 goals less than last season, not making a huge stride forward like many expected him to. Maybe a good Olympics tournament will change the way he goes into the 2012-2013 campaign with Manchester United.

And to the goal – The Bosnian defense was frantically scrambling to protect the draw after Edin Dzeko equalized in the first half. Stojan Vranjes of Cluj tried the acrobatic overhead kick clearance twice, resulting in one terrible mess up, leaving Hernandez to score one of the easiest goals he’s ever had to. The mother of all tap-ins.
