James Harden isn’t just the best sixth man in the league and possibly the Thunder’s x-factor in their playoff series with the San Antonio Spurs, holding the key to the team’s title run in 2012. He’s somewhat of a fashion icon – the beard, the glasses, and now – James Harden, the cake.

Harden gets just as much attention for his looks and especially his beard, often voted by his peers as the biggest hipster in the NBA, as he does for excellent play, averaging 18.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game so far through 12 playoff games. After sweeping the Mavs and beating the Lakers 4-1, Harden and the Thunder are 1-2 behind in the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

Harden has also added this kind of stare down in the postseason, trying to get some sort of edge he already has plenty of times thanks to his beard. As for the cake – It does look awesome, being a funny replica of a great player and what many testify to being a great guy, but with the beard in mind, it’s hard to think of it as really appetite inducing.
