You can tell when a dad spends too much time with his son, and their main activity together is watching football. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, we encourage it. But what you get is a two year kid naming each and every one of the Netherlands players and coaching staff on a poster in front of him.
I don’t know how much they trained for this before posting the video which went viral rather quickly, but this kid, Noah, has an incredible memory. Maybe watching the game with his father, and seeing the Netherlands lose twice already, still holding a slim chance of making it through to the next stage, helped his performance in front of the camera.
Dutch fans can only hope that such an inspirational effort from a toddler, showing fantastic memory and obviously a lot of love and affection for the so far under performing players, can inspire their players heading into their final match against Portugal.
Placed in Group C, the group of Death, the Netherlands were stunned by Denamrk in their first match, losing 0-1, and couldn’t turn things around against a better German side in the second match, losing 1-2, leaving them last in the group, needing a big win over Portugal which still might not be enough to take them through.
