The huge upset of Egypt losing at home to the Central African Republic 2-3 in the qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations wasn’t the only great thing about the night, as Les Fauves goalkeeper, Geoffrey Lembet stole the show with a moment of insanity and a bit of boxing skills.

First to the shock, which is part of the first round of the qualifiers to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. Huge favorites Egypt, playing in Cario, went 1-0 up through Mohamed Zidan after 10 minutes. The visitors equalized in the 26th minute and despite the fact that they played with 10 men, managed to come back from another Egyptian lead to secure the shocking win in the first leg of the clash.

Goalkeeper Geoffrey Lembet, who plays his club football for Sedan in France, stole the show in terms of most memorable incident on the field. While getting treatment, Lembet was ordered off the pitch by the referee. Lembet punched the goalpost in response, and as he was escorted across the line he went after the other goalpost, this time showing not one punch, but a flurry of fists and combinations.

The second leg between Egypt and the Central African Republic will take place on June 30 in Bangui.
