One of Norway’s finest young players, Marcus Pedersen, decided to celebrate his goal in the match between Valerenga and Stabaek by mimicking an act of oral sex while shouting “gays” at the Stabaek fans, which will probably put him in deep waters and a lot of trouble very soon.
The 22 year old striker is currently on loan with Valerenga, owned by Dutch club Vitesse who have yet to see Pedersen live up to his potential after two seasons in the Netherlands, scoring 5 goals in 25 matches. Back in Norway and the Tippeligaen, Pedersen is doing much better with 7 goals in 14 matches.
Pedersen was the best player on the field as Valerenga got a 3-1 away win at Stabaek, the worst team in the league, scoring two goals and helping his club reach 5th place in the table, currently five points away from a Europa League spot and 11 points away from league leaders Strømsgodset, Pedersen’s club before he left Norway.
After scoring from a tight angle off a teammates miss, Pedersen made no doubt at what he was saying and what he was doing towards the Stabaek fans, performing a short oral sex goal ‘celebration’ while shouting homophobic slurs at the home fans. It’s quite certain that the Norwegian FA and possibly other organizations and groups will take action against him after his disgraceful behavior.
