In 2012, Digby Ioane probably took a step back from his fantastic title winning season with the Queensland Reds the previous year, winning the Super Rugby title before going on to the World Cup with Australia. But he can still entertain his Wallabies teammates like no one else can, giving quite a show by dancing to the catchy tune of ‘Faith’ by George Michael.

Ioane made his amateurish yet quite impressive performance infront of the delighted Quade Cooper, Ezra Taylor, Kurtley Beale and Natalie Taylor.

The 27 year old winger, born in New Zealand, is the first Samoan player to ever feature for the Wallabies. He made his debut for Australia in 2007, since going on to play 27 times for the Wallabies, winning the 2011 Tri-Nations trophies, the last in the three team version. He really had his breakout season in 2011, playing as a winger full time for the Reds, scoring five tries for the second straight year and reaching 100 career points in Super Rugby.

His four game suspension this season for making an illegal tackle against Sharks Flanker Marcell Coetzee really threw him off his rhythm and game, finding it hard to re-find his from from the previous two seasons. Ioane featured in four matches for the Wallabies in the 2011 Rugby World Cup, scoring one try.
