The special thing about College Football? Not the level of play, although some teams, like Alabama and LSU over the last two years, do look at times like programs who can compete against the minnows of the NFL; but the fans, and their creativity.

Maybe it’s the alcohol, but sometimes it’s a lot more about the passion and emotion the teams create among the fans and the communities of their towns and the states, much more than in the NFL.

The best school, those often mentioned in national championship talks and have trophy cabinets that are a bit fuller than the rest of their opponents, don’t necessarily have the best fans, but many of them have the biggest fan bases, and usually get a bit more coverage and notice, whether it’s on or off the field, making the people trying to grab attention by their outfits, clothes or signs a bit more easy to spot and present later on.
