Since then, it’s been six league wins and a draw, with the last match before the Christmas break a 0-0 draw against Utrecht.

The team’s top scorer this season is Siem de Jong with 7 goals, but the two players who mean the most to Ajax are the two Danes, Viktor Fischer and Christian Eriksen. It’s been exactly two years since Ajax last won a league match against Feyenoord (2-0, 19.1.2011). The more important number going into the match is Feyenoord not beating Ajax in Amsterdam since 2005.
