2013 NBA All-Star Game Rosters

The NBA has released the names of the reserves in the 2013 All-Star game, making the Miami Heat, with Chris Bosh joining LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, as the only team with three players on the rosters, while no less than six players got their first selection, five of them in the Eastern conference.

Along with Chris Bosh making his 8th All-Star game and Luol Deng making his second, the Eastern bench is filled with newcomers: Kyrie Irving, Jrue Holiday, Tyson Chandler, Joakim Noah and Paul George all making their first All-Star appearance.

In the West, it’s a little bit more about veterans. James Harden is representing the host city, Houston, also making his first All-Star game, joining former teammates Kevin Durant (in the starting lineup) and Russell Westbrook on the bench, representing the Oklahoma City Thunder in the All-Star game for the 3rd time.

The elder statesmen of the game this time will be Kevin Garnett starting for the East, making the All-Star game for the 15th time, tied with Kobe Bryant in the Western Conference, also making it for the 15th time. Tim Duncan, selected on the West bench along with his San Antonio Spurs teammate, Tony Parker, will be in his 14th All-Star game.

Eastern Starters: LeBron James (26.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.1 assists), Dwyane Wade (20.5 points), Rajon Rondo (13.7 points, 11.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds), Kevin Garnett (14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds), Carmelo Anthony (29.1 points, 6.1 rebounds).

Bench: Tyson Chandler (12.1 points, 10.9 rebounds), Luol Deng (17.4 points. 6.4 rebounds), Joakim Noah (12.2 points, 10.9 rebounds), Chris Bosh (17.3 points, 7.2 rebounds), Paul George (17.3 points, 7.8 rebounds), Jrue Holiday (19 points, 9 assists), Kyrie Irving (23.7 points, 5.7 assists).

Western Starters: Kobe Bryant (29.2 points), Dwight Howard (16.7 points, 12 rebounds), Chris Paul (16.6 points, 9.7 assists), Blake Griffin (18.1 points, 8.5 rebounds), Kevin Durant (29.6 points, 7.4 rebounds).

Bench: Tim Duncan (17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds), Tony Parker (19.8 points, 7.4 assists), LaMarcus Aldridge (20.7 points, 8.8 rebounds), James Harden (25.8 points, 5.4 assists), David Lee (19.6 points, 10.8 rebounds), Zach Randolph (16.1 points, 11.6 rebounds), Russell Westbrook (22.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.1 assists).
