The important battle that will take place on the field between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47 is a bit more important than decided who has the sexier fan base or cheerleading crew, but for some people, the two are both very important.

But now, for a bit of sports before the main course: For the 49ers, who haven’t been to the Super Bowl since the days Steve Young played quarterback, it’s a chance to win their sixth Super Bowl title, tying with the Pittsburgh Steelers for most all time. Their last trip to the big game was in 1995, beating the San Diego Chargers. It’s also worth mentioning that the 49ers have never lost in the Super Bowl.

For the Baltimore Ravens, it’s been quite a wait as well – last time they made it was January 28, 2001. The Ravens won that game against the Giants, their only trip to the big game, making them also undefeated when it comes to the big games.
