Only three days after winning their second Le Classique of the season, Paris Saint-Germain host Marseille for a different version of France’s biggest rivalry, this time in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, and you can watch it all right here.
In the league, the 2-0 win by PSG with goals by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and another own goal pretty much knocked Marseille out of the title run, 8 points behind the league leaders, while Lyon are still in the running (second place), three points behind the Parisians.
In the Cup, it hasn’t been such a tough road for PSG – beating Arras 4-3 in the round of 64 and Toulouse 3-1 in the round of 32, setting themselves up with a match against Marseille. They’ve won their last 8 matches in all competitions, and haven’t lost a match since December 2012. With 25 goals in 31 matches, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is their leading scorer in all competitions.
Marseille opened their Cup road this season with a 3-1 win over Guingamp, followed by a 2-1 win at Rouen. They haven’t won in the Parc the Princes since February 2010 (A season in which they won the league title), beating PSG 3-0 with goals from Ben Arfa, Lucho and Cheyrou. They’re heading into the match not in the best of form, winning only once out of their last five matches. Jordan Ayew is the team’s top scorer this season with 9 goals so far.
