Monta Ellis Buzzer Beater Better Than Jeremy Lin Assist

Monta Ellis Buzzer Beater Better Than Jeremy Lin Assist

If it wasn’t for Monta Ellis hitting an insane buzzer-beater from well beyond the three-point line to give the Milwaukee Bucks a 110-107 win over the Houston Rockets, Jeremy Lin would have owned the highlight of the night with his behind the back assist to Chandler Parsons.

Monta Ellis dribbled down the clock with the game tied at 107-107. Despite not being the greatest of defenders, Lin did a good job around the perimeter in keeping Ellis away from the basket. That really didn’t matter, as the highly criticized shooting guard, on an awful statistical season, made a crazy shot that rolled several times around the rim before sinking in, leading to the Bucks not even celebrating on the floor; instead rushing right out of the arena into the locker room.

Lin had his moment much earlier in a decent game for him, scoring 10 points and adding 7 assists, doing well on the break to find his best-bud Parsons with some nice behind-the-back maneuvering, NBA.Com nicknamed it a Globetrotter assist. Too bad it wasn’t enough for a win.
