Who wins the NCAA tournament and whether or not we’re going to have, finally, a #1 team getting beat by a 16th seed isn’t the only thing that matters in the internet age of 2013. Sometimes, for some people, just getting a chance to argue about which school has the hottest fans or cheerleaders is enough.
The 2013 Final Four will be played in Atlanta, as the tournament will be played for the 75th time, the beginning dating back to 1939.
The number one seeds and obvious favorites to win it are Kansas, Gonzaga (not really a favorite), Indiana and Louisville. There is a team making its first ever appearance – Florida Gulf Coast University, the Atlantic Sun champions. Liberty, already knocked out in the First Four stage, became the first 20-loss team in five years to earn an NCAA bid. For the first time since 1977, no team from Texas was selected for the Tournament.
