The Indiana Pacers looked very dominant once again vs the Atlanta Hawks, showcased by some impressive dunking from two of their players – first Roy Hibbert with a vicious posterizing over Ivan Johnson for the And-1, while Gerald Green showed for the millionth time how much hops he has in his legs, coming off the bench to decimate Josh Smith.
At the end of the day, the physicality of the Indiana Pacers has been a bit too much for the Atlanta Hawks in the opening two games, led forward by a fantastic Paul George, leading the scoring in the first couple of games. Their second win of 113-98 makes it two consecutive game with at least 15 points of difference between the teams in what should have been a closer series.
Roy Hibbert scored 15 points in the win, adding 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Gerald Green came off the bench to show more than just dunking, scoring 15 points, going 3-6 from beyond the arc. Game 3 takes place on Saturday, April 27, as the series moves to Atlanta.
