Nathaniel Chalobah, the Most Powerful Goal of the Season

Some goals are pretty, some are pure strength and power. While Nathaniel Chalobah of Watford (on loan from Chelsea) isn’t the most physically imposing player you’ll ever cast your eyes upon, it’s hard to find a more powerful strike than his goal in the 2-1 win over Leicester in a huge win with implications on the Championship promotional race.

The England U-21 midfielder didn’t too much before scoring this wonderful goal. He took control of a bad pass during a Watford attack, and from about 25 meters didn’t stop or hesitate, sending the ball with one touch to the top of Kasper Schmeichel’s net, scoring his fifth goal of the season.

With the win, Watford continue to put a lot of pressure on second-placed Hull City, who have 78 points after 44 matches, while Watford remain at third, only one point behind, with one match more played, currently on their way to the promotional playoffs. Leicester might miss out on these playoffs and another encounter with Watford due to the loss.
