LeBron James, the Most Underpaid NBA Player

LeBron James, the Most Underpaid NBA Player

How can someone who makes close to $20 million a season be underpaid? When you’re LeBron James, the best player and biggest star the NBA has to offer, the money you generate for the team (Miami Heat) and for the league is a lot greater than the salary you’re being paid.

In short, despite being one of the highest paid athletes in the world, earning more than double his basketball salary from endorsements, his salary does not compare to the economic value he provides for both his team and the NBA.

James is in his 10th NBA season, looking to win his fourth MVP title in five years. More importantly? James looks like he’s on the right path to win his second consecutive NBA title after a clean, easy sweep of the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
