Transfer Rumors 2013 – Real Madrid Made an Offer for Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale 2013

A move that has been brewing for a very long time is the one that might take Gareth Bale from Totteham to Real Madrid, but the player has been quiet on the matter of his desires for the future, although the kind of money and Champions League football Real have to offer might be too good to refuse.

Accoring to both AS and Marca, it’s inevitable, and Real Madrid, who have a very hard time with Luka Modric last summer in their attempts to end the negotiations with Tottenham, have made an offer with an ultimatum to make their decision as quick as possible.

According to these reports, Real have made an offer worth £60 million, which is more than what Barcelona have paid for Neymar (something Bale’s agent has promised would happen), but with an ultimatum that says Tottenham must accept the bid before June 15, and there will be no further offers. This is it.

In their attempts to keep Bale despite finishing fifth which means yet another season without Champions League football, Spurs are hoping that the mostly successful season and potential improvement under Andre Villas-Boas for both him personally and the club, along with the £130,000 per week the club is offering him, might be enough to convince him to stay for yet another season at White Hart Lane.

Real Madrid, as expected, are prepared to match that salary offer and add a few more quids on top of that, as their urgency to secure a big time player grows after both losing to Barcelona for Neymar and other talents like Falcao they were interested in are being snapped up.
