The classic final we’ve been waiting for in the 2013 Confederations Cup, Brazil (the hosts) vs Spain (the world champions), is also the match that fate brought forth, and if you don’t have how to watch it, we’re here to help.

Brazil had a perfect group stage, winning all three matches against Japan (3-0), Mexico (2-0) and Italy (4-2). In the semifinal, they played against South American rival, managing to win 2-1 thanks to an 86th minute goal by Paulinho.

The team’s top scorers are both Fred (scoring twice against Italy and once against Uruguay) and Neymar (with a goal in each of the group stage matches), scoring three goals each so far, without the help of playing against Tahiti.

Just like their rivals, Spain won all three matches in the group stage: Uruguay (2-1), Tahiti (10-0) and Nigeria (3-0). The semifinal against Italy was a lot more difficult, finishing the 120 minutes in a 0-0 draw, but making it through on penalty kicks without missing a single one.

Their top scorer in the tournament (and the competition’s overall top scorer) is Fernando Torres with 5 goals, although when you think about four of them coming against Tahiti, that numbers seems a lot less impressive.

The last time these two sides have met was a 1999 friendly match in Vigo, ending in a 0-0 draw. Their last competitive encounter came in the 1986 World Cup (Mexico), with Brazil winning 1-0 in the group stage thanks to a a goal by Socrates.
