Friendly matches aren’t usually about tackles and physical play, but it seems that not all players think that way, with Hugo Campagnaro of Inter Milan getting sent off during the match with Chelsea for viciously stepping on John Terry.
Campagnaro didn’t seem like he did anything by mistake. He lost the ball in slid in hard to hurt Terry, who while cramping up to hold his own leg also sent a little kick at Campagnaro, which the referee missed. In any case, Campagnaro got the red card, while the players from both sides got into a mini scuffle that didn’t amount to much.
As for the match itself, Chelsea looked very good against a transitional Inter side, winning 2-0 with goals from Eden Hazard and Oscar.
