Petr Jiráček With the Worst Miss of the International Break

You can’t miss from any closer, or any worse, than the way Petr Jiráček managed to do during the friendly match between the Czech Republic and Hungary, managing to possibly attribute the worst miss of the season to himself before the end of August.

The 27 year-old midfielder who plays his club football for Hamburg is known for his ability to burst from the second line and arrive in the box with perfect timing. That was exactly what he did in what should have put the Czech Republic 2-0 up in their away match, but he somehow mishit the ball completely with his natural left foot, sending it high and wide instead of into the wide open net.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw with Libor Kozak scoring earlier on for the Czechs and Balazs Dzsudzsak scoring the equalizer for Hungary in the second half.
