Liverpool FC Transfer Rumors – Victor Moses, Mamadou Sakho & Tiago Ilori Signed at the Last Minute

There hasn’t been anything official about any of these last-minute deals Liverpool have been linked with, but maybe they’re just waiting for the Northwest Derby to be over with, and then let the world know that Mamadou Sakho of PSG, Victor Moses from Chelsea (on loan) and maybe even Tiago Ilori from Sporting have signed with the team.

We’ll begin with what seems to be the most likely of deals, which is Sakho, who has already been photographed in Liverpool attire at Melwood, yawning. There still hasn’t been any official word from either club, but PSG aren’t standing in the French centre back’s way of finding himself some regular first team football, and according to all reports the deal will cost around £15 million for Liverpool, or probably slightly more.

Victor Moses

Victor Moses is something of a recent development, and yet no official word. Still, the Guardian and others seem quite confident in the finality of this deal, which will send the Nigerian winger on a loan deal for £1 million. Moses enjoyed some playing time under Rafa Benitez, but hasn’t been really heard from during Jose Mourinho’s comeback, leaving the right winger looking for a team to take him on.

Chelsea aren’t planning on giving up on him just yet, but there wasn’t going to be any chance for him to play as Jose Mourinho has shown who is favorites are when it comes to the forward slots. Moses can fill a Liverpool need on the right wing in certain formations for them, although it’s still early to asses how big of an impact he’ll make on the team. Last season, Nuri Sahin was a big name Liverpool brought on loan, and he was out of the club by January.

Tiago Ilori is the least likely to be true out of all of these. The young centre back has been trailed by Liverpool all summer long, but their low-balling attempts haven’t worked on Sporting, who are reportedly in dire need of some cash. Ilori still hasn’t played this season for Sporting, recovering from an operation. According to A Bola, Liverpool and Sporting have agreed to a £5 million fee, although it remains to be seen if this is the real deal.
