Arsenal are firing on all cylinders at the moment, as proven by their very comfortable 4-1 win over Norwich and remaining at the top of the Premier League. But it’s not just wins – it’s ability, flair and creativity oozing out of their attacking players, demonstrated perfectly in the opening goal by Jack Wilshere, coming after some brilliant passing between himself, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla.
Wilshere suddenly has scored two Premier League goals after failing to get on the scoresheet in a league match for three years. All the noise around him for smoking and making comments about nationality don’t seem to bother him much; maybe because they shouldn’t be creating headlines. His football has been improving as the season is progressing, learning how to play within a system and not try and do everything himself.
The goal began with Santi Cazorla, finally back in the lineup, passing to Wilshere who passed it right back at him while running across Olivier Giroud and into the box. Cazrola once again returned the ball to Wilshere, who this time flicked it to Olivier Giroud, not waiting much longer and flicking it back to Wilshere, finding himself in a one on one and a chance to score an easy goal, which just might be the best we’ve seen so far this season in the Premier League.
