Week 4 of the Champions League group stage doesn’t bring too many goals in its first half of two nights, as Manchester United finished in a 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad. Real Madrid and Juventus ended their match with a 2-2 draw that puts the Spaniards in the next round, while Manchester City also clinched their place among the last 16 along with the group leaders, Bayern Munich.
FC Copenhagen brought the surprise of the evening with a win over Galatasaray, while Ashley Young added yet another embarrassing dive to his impressive collection.
Group A
A dullest night as can be, with two 0-0 results in the group. At least the Manchester United visit to Real Sociedad created some controversy – Ashley Young dove again to win a penalty kick, but Robin van Persie missed it, with Marouane Fellaini got sent off in the end. In Donetsk, Shakhtar failed to put themselves in second place with a draw against Bayer Leverkusen.
