NBA on Christmas – Shoes of the Stars

Besides putting some marquee names together in one long day of NBA basketball, the league and the stars are out there to make a fashion statement. While everyone agrees the t-shirts were an awful idea, some of the new and special shoe designs introduced by LeBron James and others were quite eye catching as well.

Jason Terry might not be a big name anymore, but his black & white appearance was probably the best and coolest thing about the Brooklyn Nets; not just in the Christmas game, but generally in their depressing season. Dwyane Wade also wore a pair that was hard to take your eyes off, but it’s still hard to decide whether they’re fashionable or just strange.

There were other color coordination with the team’s colors, like Russell Westbrook with a simple but quite neat white and blue. Iman Shumpert didn’t just stand out with his awful shooting, but also with the purple pair he put on his feet.

Stephen Curry had a special, military looking pair of shoes in the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, while Kevin Durant’s red pair made us remember how Bart and Lisa were able to tell that Sideshow Bob frames Krusty.
