The Champions League returns with a huge match in the knockout stage with Manchester City playing against Barcelona. If you don’t have or know where to watch this colossal match, we’re here to help.
Manchester City are in this stage for the first time in team history. They’re currently third in the Premier League but a win in the match in hand they have will put them at the top of the table again. They did pretty well in the group stage of the competition, finishing with 15 points and finishing behind Bayern Munich but ahead of Viktoria Plzen and CSKA Moscow. Sergio Aguero is their top scorer with 6 in the Champions League (he’s not playing against Barca), and Alvaro Negredo follows with 5 goals. They did lose their previous league game against Chelsea, but were on a 8-game winning streak before that loss.
Barcelona reached the semifinals of the competition every season since 2008. They’re currently in the lead of the La Liga, but it’s actually a 3-way tie with all three teams with 60 points. Barcelona finished first in the group stage of the Champions League, finishing ahead of Milan, Ajax and Celtic. Their top scorer this season, despite missing so much time, is still Lionel Messi, with 24 goals in all competitions and six in the Champions League. Barcelona have won their last two league matches by 10 goals to one.
Where to Watch – We always recommend using Firstrow, always making a lot more links available when the match begins. VIPbox offers plenty of links in different languages and varying quality but the top one is obviously the most recommended. Wizwig.tv are another excellent and trustworthy site to watch it on.
