There’s no doubt that Joakim Noah stepped up his game this season and became more than just a guy who defends well, brings out the cliché of 150% and has strange hair. He’s a borderline superstar now despite not scoring too much. A triple double machine who stands out no matter what, which makes him deserve to get a few hilarious illustrated gifs demonstrating just how special he is.

The numbers Noah is putting up? He’s averaging 12.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and an incredible 7.4 assists per game. Why incredible? Noah is a center, but he’s also the most important offensive piece in Chicago offense without being the team’s best finisher. He’s the best passer, best decision maker and seems to be the key on defense as well. No one things of the Bulls as potential NBA champions, but Noah’s play this season makes it a possibility worth considering.

Noah made his second All-Star game this season and deserves to be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year, not to mention earning his second All-Defensive first team selection. Him being a “goofy” looking character and sometimes wearing his heart on his sleeve shouldn’t fool anyone: Noah is one of the best players in the NBA, and undoubtedly the most versatile of the league’s centers.
