New Zealand completed a Tri-Nations double over South Africa, beating the Springboks twice in the same week, completing another impressive win, this time 31-17. South Africa failed to grab a bonus point and will now travel to Australia, tired, bruised and dejected after being outclassed by the scary looking All Blacks twice. Here are the best photos from the All Blacks’ win in Wellington, giving them two weeks to enjoy and prepare for their meet with the Wallabies in Melbourne.
Gotta Start With the Haka
Where’s the Head? Bryan Habana & Jacque Fourie (South Africa) and Mils Muliaina compete and all miss the ball
What a Choke-Hold – Dan Carter (NZ) is wrestled to the ground by Schalk Burger (SA)
10-0 : Mils Muliaina scoring New Zealand’s second try, making it very clear from the start the the All-Blacks wouldn’t be caught by the Springboks today
Family Jewels – The pain is beyond imagination when Ruan Pienaar elbows Israel Daag right in the you know what. Dagg’s expression is priceless
Hit the Post – Rene Ranger of the All-Blacks making it 18-10 while the South African tackler gets more than he bargained for going in for the tackle
Pierre Spies seems to realize this just isn’t the Springboks’ day, losing to South Africa for the second time in seven days
