Whether it was a surprise or not, LeBron James deciding to opt out of his contract with the Miami Heat created quite a reaction. To no one’s surprise, the memes and jokes at the expense of him, the Miami Heat and the fans of the team were quick to follow.

It’s not just about that holy trio. Kobe Bryant and Lakers fans get dissed as well, mostly for dreaming about every eligible free agent coming to play with them. Carmelo Anthony is also part of this equation, although thinking that he and LeBron will be playing on the same team next season doesn’t sound too realistic at the moment.

LeBron James haters were born the day he made ‘The Decision’ to take his talents to South Beach. Him losing in the most recent NBA finals and now deciding to pursue the options free agency gives him simply breeds more hate but also some excellent humor at his expense.

The most likely scenario is James staying in Miami with a new contract that allows the Heat to sign some players, with Wade and Bosh following suit. As much as every fanbase in the NBA makes it seem like James is the thing they hate the most, everyone would love to have him on their team.
